 The Birth of a Vision
Several years ago, a light bulb switched on inside my head when a friend commented, "Shaneen, business people are not being reached, and those who are successful and wealthy also need the Gospel."
With this mustard seed of faith I launched "Tea at the Ritz" in a private dining room at the Ritz Hotel in Piccadilly. If you ever visit London be sure to enjoy the delightful experience of an afternoon tea in this Palm Court setting. Taking tea is quintessentially English and part of our British heritage.
The women had the excuse of dressing up, feeling special, and relaxing in the height of luxury. Appropriate attire is expected-no jeans or shorts are permitted. Since it opened in the 1906, the Ritz has been steeped in the history of the rich and famous.
At one of our events there, on a Valentine's Day, I spoke on the subject of The 21st Century Woman. At the close of the meeting I extended an invitation to those who wanted to give their hearts to Jesus. The Spirit of the Lord was present in such a powerful way that one woman literally dropped to the floor under God's anointing.
 You can imagine the panic of the butlers and wait staff. One of them immediately called 911 for an ambulance. This uproar caused the servers to inquire further on what they had witnessed that day. I pray these men will come to the Lord as a result and we will all enjoy High Tea in the courts of Heaven!
Add Action to Your Dream
The Ritz Teas continue and are attended by many unbelievers who leave the portals of this great establishment as changed individuals. God is using the quality of this environment to display His excellence.
Those who know the English understand that they will always take tea at a moment of distress, and there can be no greater crisis than not knowing the Gospel. By listening, and following God's call, I boldly stepped into a place of excellence to promote the message that offers eternal life.
Amazing opportunities will result when you dare to dream, and put action to your vision.
